Even better – remove the strap and use it as an elegant evening clutch! Handcrafted from quality full-grain leather and organic cotton, this chic and comfortable design features a zip-top closure and an interior pocket to keep your belongings secure yet accessible.

The Rio with textile has the same features as our all-leather version, but with the addition of a stunning one-of-a-kind vintage design that wraps around the entire bag. The handwoven fabric was once worn as a Mayan huipil (blouse) and was ethically sourced and mindfully repurposed by our Mayan partnerships in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.

To make your bag even more personalized, the strap is removable and can be switched out for a Vintage Embroidered Faja Strap when desired.

Every piece is slow-crafted in a small home studio near Antigua, Guatemala by leather artisans who are passionate about their skills and are paid true living wages for their work.
